Since 1977 Institute has a specialized Council for defense of candidate and doctoral theses on the specialty 14.00.22  “Traumatology and Orthopedics“.

  • During the work of the Council has been successfully defended
    - 49 doctoral theses;
    - 308 candidate theses.
  • The Council accepts profile dissertational researches of specialists from Russian Federation for the public defense.
    Over the last 5 years on the basis of Institute:
  •  22 themes of scientific research completed.
  • 1327 scientific efforts published, including 18 monographs and 165 foreign publications.
  • 25 guidelines, 11 manuals for doctors, 12 new medical technologies suggested.
  • 140 applications for inventions handed.
  • 62 patents received.
  • 58 positive decisions on granting patent received.
